The PGA Cap Cana Championship in the Dominican Republic Cap Cana Golf Golf aficionados worldwide watched Keith Fergus hold off Mark O'Meara and Andy Bean to win the PGA's Cap Cana Championship by one stroke.

The real star of the Golf Channel telecast, however, was the resort itself, one of the world's premier golf destinations. "The tournament was a great opportunity for viewers to discover Cap Cana and the Dominican Republic," says Cesar J. Herrera of Provaltur International, Christie's Great Estates exclusive affiliate in the Dominican Republic. Herrera hosted an Exposition of Photos, ECO-LIFE at Cap Cana with a cocktail gala for the players and played in the Pro-Am Tournament with 2008 British Open Champion Bruce Vaughan.
